No one can do it in Darwin unfortunately. Engine stuff Make oil feed 100mm longer to avoid manifold better Shorten chargepipe and blank off bov Add meth bung on intercooler cold side Get some silicone for intercooler joins Wire clutch so it starts put wire 3 and 4 together i think Figure out how to tune it Last edited by Brule; 03-12-2020 at 03:11 AM.. Spent a few hours working on the car Saturday and Sunday.
Cut a bit more of the tunnel to get more room for shifter cable bracket. Got the bellhousing tightened Converter bolts tightened. Shifter cable hooked up and working. Put the new slip yolk on my driveshaft and it was around 30mm to long. So close but not close enough to work. I will look for some one in Australia or just go to DSS to get one. So many little things that take so much time. 2 of the bellhousing bolts took over 2 hours for example. Pretty happy the shifter is now hooked up. Looking forward to making the transmission brace next week. |

Nothings easy and the simplest task are painful.
I bought a good brand dipstick and it doesnt fit. Not cheap $180 for a dipstick! First of all the rubber sleeve wouldnt go in the hole it kept bunching up. I even put it in the freezer and got it in half way only to find out the nut hits the case. Something else to figure out. Last edited by Brule; 10-29-2019 at 06:14 AM.. |

Thats why it wouldn't fit!
Nah I was just using common sense instead of reading the instructions. It had a rod go in the top that allows you to tighten from the top. That extra piece I thought was rubbish was a tool I needed. Got it in tonight no worries. |
