Good morning All,

Wanted to see who has Nintendo Switch and has any insight on when / if the Switch will be getting Gears of War and or Call of Duty. I used to play a lot about 10 years ago. Got the Switch to play Mario Kart with my daughter.

I've heard some rumblings about the Switch might be getting both games this year but nothing concrete yet.

Just seeing if anyone has any better insight on the matter.

If this isn't a joke, there's no way and if they get it they'll be severely limited by hardware. Maybe a mobile first game but other than that don't count on it.

Another possibility is if somehow Nintendo allows xbox game pass cloud and you can stream on Nintendo but that is highly unlikely also.

Stick to PS5/Xbox

they ported Red dead redemption 1, and it pushes the switch, so I wont imagine newer titles.

If you like handhelds, get a steamdeck or something similar that can run new titles.

You still can play Switch games with Yuzu emulator.

I run Yuzu on a old 3rd gen intel i3 and 8gb of ram with 4 xbox remote. A steamdeck will run it no problem.

But it came with a cost, those handhelds are expensive.

I have a switch and its meh. It def will not have to power to run those games and if it does they will run like dogshit. mario games are super fun and I have the expansion pack which gives me n64, genesis, SNES, NES and GBA games for free

I do too! I was just merely asking because I was reading something about GOW and COD possibly coming to the Switch. Which would be awesome. But I might bite the bullet and get an Xbox.

the expansion pack is soo cool. They advertise it rather poorly imo, they would sell so many switches if people knew of the retro games....

yeah just get an xbox sereis s and call it a day. the games you want to play will be like 10-20 bucks on the microsfot store. you could go way older unless you want to play new titles.

I used to play "The Suffering" when Xbox first came out and was addicted to that game and the second one. I even had the big gaming books for it to how to navigate around the game and what to look out for. Wow, im old.
