These are questions that only your dealership can answer. Every dealer will have their own policy. Some are willing to hold it for you until you can pick it up. Some give you 24 hours to pick up a sold order, then it goes to the first buyer willing to sign on the line.

I think he meant pass off his allocation to the next person in line, so that he has more time in between receiving the subsequent allocation from what was his original allocation. If so, then someone else recently asked this - You can absolutely offer to do that and make arrangements with your CA, there's no reason for it not to be possible. It makes the person directly behind you incredibly happy and changes nothing for those after them anyways.

The configurator is down tonight. With the allocations not happening last week as expected, any chance they're making final revisions for next week before allocations? Or potentially fixing or finalizing any options or configurator issues like the sunroof thing?

The two are not intertwined.

Per Game it has been down for the past two days.

Edit, The BMW USA configurators are back up this morning with no changes. *Changes were made to reflect the latest price increase for 2023.

The tri-color base seats (with the M color bands around the headrests) reminds me of Delta Comfort Plus seats
