I feel like it needs bigger wheels but maybe its just the pics but the body kit type look just makes it look off with the current size or maybe its the offset not sure. Waiting to see it in person before I confirm my thoughts to myself

There has to be a better place to put the front number plate. Looks terrible in those photos. Sort of like all those folks that don't want to run plates but mount them in some odd place making it worse than where it was supposed to be.

Do they still make the aftermarket all aluminum front license mount that goes in the tow hook socket?

I had them for other cars in the past. High quality and no holes required (I was military, moved to different provinces, and I didn't want to drill holes for a fufure non-existing front plate).

Tow hook plate holder will be a no go for G87. Your plate will cover one of the parking sensors.

For sure. But good thing the front arch is squared off behind the wheel, bc that should act as a mud flap would on a car with tapered arch.

What I typically have covered; Full hood, front bumper cover, headlights, front fenders, A-pillars, mirror caps, rocker panels, rear quarter panel flares, lower rear bumper cover aft of wheels, and sometimes the full roof.

You are right. I didn't think of it. I never had a car with PDC so I didn't factor that in.

I have running boards on my truck and I haven't put PPF on them. I think running boards are built to step on and usually can take a quite a beating.

I know I've said it on another post, and I'm not the first one to say it… but that front bumper is BAD. The fact that the surfaces don't match up where the bumper and hood meet is inexcusable. I know it's supposedly intentional, but calling it "intentional" doesn't change the fact that it looks like a bad aftermarket replacement.

Does anyone (who hasn't ordered one) actually think this mismatch looks good? Or is it just more of a "do some mental gymnastics and convince myself to like it because it's got an M on it" scenario? I'm not even trying to be snarky, I'm honestly curious here…

I don't dislike the styling per se. But like you said, there are issues where bumpers and panels meet. The bumper and hood being the main one. That area makes it look like the bumper was designed for a different car or at least different hood.

So from these pictures it looks like there is zero guards protecting the radiators seen through the bumper!! In one of the video reviews they said BMW had added a guard to avoid the issues with the previous generation… but you can see the radiators are completely visible and exposed through those square openings

Hopefully Acexxon makes a rear reflector honeycomb insert like the F87. They just have to make provisions to include parking sensor. Those red reflectors have to go.

White is not and will not be a color for any car and especially not for the new M2. It devalues the look of the car extremely imo.
That is an absolute no from me. Not even for 10k € less.

Agree 100%. I find it amazing that as a 'designer' they thought implementing the parking sensor this way was a good idea. It makes no sense as the rest of the sensors are normal, and they all look fine. Just another example of overdoing something for the sake of trying to be different. If that's your thought process to design, then you've already failed.
