Now we know what the $200 parking package includes:

"Parking Assistant searches for a parking space and does the parking for you at the drop of a command. Ultrasonic sensors in the side indicators search for availability when traveling at slow speeds. Illuminated arrows indicate if parking is available on the left or right side of the road. This semi-autonomous driving feature will take care of steering your car into a parking space, and the Back-up Assistant function will steer you out, while you control the speed and braking."

Back-up assistant alone is worth the $200 in my opinion, love that feature on my G05 and use it very often.

Will it back into a parking space or is it only parallel park?

It does parallel and perpendicular parking.

Backup Assistant essentially steers for you while you handle the gas/brake in reverse and does exactly what you did going forward, in reverse.

So if you get yourself into a tight alley and need to back out, or you have a weird driveway, or a tough garage, it will mimic your previous inputs to steer you out.

Sir. I plan to waste many evenings with it!

Also noticed the 50 Jahre emblems aren't there. I understand it's only for cars built in Dec, but I'm still hoping being #1 on the list I can spec it. I know I can add later for about $350 as well which I may optionally do.

In order to get the CF bucket seats you need to get the entire Carbon Package which is $9,900? Thought this was an 'entry' level M car? I wonder how many that planned on getting the CF buckets are still going to at $10k, that's insane.

And you have to wait till 3/23.

I'm first on my list and super annoyed cause I don't want to wait. I assume any Dec production will be April to May delivery so if the car is built in March… I don't wanna wait till August or later.

Then I'll wait lmao! My sales guy hasn't told me yet. I figured they can produce the car and let it sit till the seats are ready.

Super easy to build my spec. since not many options to think about. It took a lot longer to figure out what I wanted on my M240ix. I am done with this, in the order bank 047 status, priority 1. Now some patience is needed waiting for an allocation.

On a G87 equipped with the automatic for sure. Uncertain about when equipped with the manual. My 0.02, I would not want it with the manual.

They are EOP for the U.S. 12/22. With U.S. Centers having not received G87 allocations yet it appears they will not be available. You can purchase them later for approx $300 and diy.

I am still torn between the Shadowline package or no Shadowline package. I prefer the chrome exhaust tips as well as the faux chrome strip at the top of the headlights, but it appears that the bronze/gold band at the bottom of the headlight that is also on the G42 is still present, at least per the configurator. I do not care for that and feel I might have to spec with Shadowline.

Edit, pic added showing the bronze/gold band on the Non-Shadowline headlights from the U.S. configurator.

My build was $74,694. That's what my e92 m3 comp cost in 2011

And after inflation that's 99,000 in today's dollars so the m2 is a steal

Sooo….without the carbon buckets I am at $69,400. This does not include the individual paint (I am not buying right away) or the 1000M wheels.

God I really like the idea of carbon seats but when I sat in them I was surprised how snug they were on my legs. I was not sure if I liked not being able to move me legs as freely as I would like. FYI I am 5'8" 155lbs.
