Battery coding Middlesbrough
Evening all.
I've had to bite the bullet and replace my battery but I'm unsure as to whether it'll be a like for like replacement as I'm not stripping all the panels out of the boot until it gets here ('08 e93). So, I know it'll need registering and probably coding as well. Can anyone recommend somewhere in the Middlesbrough area that can do this or am I better off just buying a K+DCAN cable and following a guide to do it myself? Thanks in advance 👍🏻 |

Thanks, I've ordered a cable that'll be here tomorrow so we'll see how we go!

I downloaded all the software to a borrowed laptop and used the cable I got on Amazon (£30). Registered the battery with no issues. Surprisingly it was the first battery change the car had had which means the last one lasted 14 years!
