Tint on Lease Return
Quick lease return question...
If I have illegal tint on my car, they are going to charge me to take it off, aren't they? I'm going to get my car tinted tomorrow, and I think I really want about 20%, but 32% is legal here. I'm tempted to not want to deal with it and just do 32, but I have a light interior. What do you guys think?

I don't think they'll know any different. Back in '99 when I had a 323i I returned it and had no problems with 20% all-around and we're supposed to have 35% on the front windows. FWIW, I have 15% all-around on my current car.

Uh, just go with what cha want.... then have your installer remove it down the road.
Or just go with 20 and by the time it's time to trade in I'm sure it'll have faded a bit and they won't notice. Oh and 5% is where it's at  http://picsorban.com/upload/penny%20...y%2008%205.jpg |
