Light control module repair
Posting this for my father, he has a 2010 335d and his LCModule is broken. He wants to know if there are any repair centers or shops he can send it to and have them repair it and send it back to him. Im not familiar at all with the 335d so any help about that from you guys would be appreciated. Thank you!

I haven't heard of this, but what are the symptoms?
Good luck with the repair.

If its actually fried he can probably send it to any electronics shop. If its bricked which I understand is more likely, he probably ought to get a new one and bring it to a knowledgeable independent shop. Seems backwards since you would think fried is worse than bricked, but bricked modules are a real hassle to bring back to life. FWIW, if he really needs a new footwell module (lighting controller) it's $375 shipped online plus an hour install and a half hour programming for a competent independent shop, or $600 plus 4 or 5 hours of labor at a dealer.
