I need help with identifying the paint COLOR CODE of my M240i, the GLOSS BLACK of the lower trim: rear bumper, side skirts etc... I got some minor damage to my lower left side rear bumper trim panel, I think the part number from the BMW parts catalog is:51-12-5-A2E-9C7. The body shop is telling me that the part arrived unpainted and needs to be painted, and although my Brooklyn Gray has a color code, there is no BMW color code for the gloss black! I'm shocked that apparently there is no code for this... can someone please help and provide me with a color code for the gloss black, or a resource that can help! Much appreciated.

A good body shop should have an analyser to mix a match either with the existing part or another black part like the rocker panel.
Failing that, your dealer workshop will have the paint code.

Can anyone confirm if BMW paint code "668" "Jet Black" would be the correct color for the trim piece noted??

Yes. I confirmed it with 2 local dealers. Had to do a minor touch up on the lower side skirt and jet black was a perfect match.
