Tuned N57 issue.

Hello i have a 325D N57 and it contains a stage 1 remap, i keep getting 2 fault codes that affects driving behaviour and the consumption and it also holds back sometimes and won’t exceed 210km/h.
And in the Netherlands you need a MOT yearly with a diesel and yesterday i got rejected at 3,4 million soot particles instead of the permitted 1 million.

Contains fault codes:
4185 Exhaust temperature sensor upstream of cat, signal
Also a Air mass meter fault (dont know the code right now)

Sensors have both been replaced in hopes to fix the issue but the codes didn’t go away they just came back, also when i give it a lot of throttle at high rpm a lot of black smoke comes out (dpf is in place).

Is it a problem with the DPF or something else maybe?

Thanks in advance!

N57 or N47? Unless the Netherlands has weird BMW model numbers, usually a 25 would indicate the 4cyl diesel, not the I6.

Did you reset adaptations for the MAF when it was replaced?

No in europe for the E9X 25 means 6 cilinder, so N57.
How do i reset the adaptations?
And before changing the MAF the error was already there so i kinda wasted money on it…
I also concluded that my DPF is clogged so it’ll get cleaning soon

If there’s a DPF you really shouldn’t get smoke? Do you get the same code if you unplug that sensor? Wondering if it’s a wiring fault ? But given you have smoke that’s odd so maybe start at dpf and work back.
But guessing it won’t regen with those codes either so….
