Stradale Design Clubsport Front Splitter G42 M240i

Hi fellow g42 owners! Its been a long development year getting to this point, but we are happy to announce that our Clubsport Front Splitter is ready for purchase!

We got the G42 M240i in February 2022, and went to work on it as soon as we could. After the 3D scans of the entire vehicle was completed, we started to design the front splitter. We incorporated the design language of our G8X GTS Front splitter to that of the G42. The two lower intake impressions makes a clear indication that this is intended for the 2 series, while the sheer triangular design language of the front bumper is also used in the splitter design to bring a more Oem plus look.

Hope you guys and girls will enjoy it, more parts for the G42 2 series are in development, stay tuned!

As many have stated the design is great but the price point is a blocker for most.

If you want to sell a bunch of these drop the price or at least offer a gloss black version.

I like it but make this as ABS and a reasonable price and you will sell them.
Otherwise I’m not seeing people investing on this.

What I don’t understand is the design.
Why is there “closed vents” in the center? It will just increase the resistance and push the spoiler down or am I thinking it wrongly?
Would not be better to be open?

Just my 2 cents.

Hi Jose,

thank you for the input, it definitely helps us guage the market more precisely. As for the design having the center open and act and vents makes the pieces structurally weaker additionally there’s no need for a functional vent as this is an air dam.

The ABS option as expressed by most of you is a good idea, we’ll follow up with our manufacturing team and get back to you guys about the ABS variant.
