Pics

They need to drop more pics. The car has grown beyond my E92 M3.

I'm so sick of 98% of cars being black/white/silver. It's a freaking sports car, not a mini van. I can't wait to get this beast in an avant garde sky blue! A special car should be a special colour. I don't know why Americans are afraid to buy colors that stand out. Black cars look good for about a day after they're washed. I'm genuinely thrilled that BMW is offering such a custom color. That yellow on the m3 isn't my fav color, but it's freaking cool that it's being offered.

I never understood why people complained - at least those colors were different.

A guy on my street has a Sakhir Orange F80 ZCP and it looks awesome - such a pretty color, especially with all the sun we have here in Texas.
+1

I think the rather unusual colors are best suited for the ///M cars.

Most sport cars are black white silver or red

My point precisely. Consumers have become painfully bland—afraid to be different.

People really like to bash bright fun colors. There was also quite a bit of hate for Laguna Seca Blue and Yas Marina Blue. Both of those colors look fantastic IMO.I just can't get excited when i look at a car in black, silver or gray paint.I like biright colors like this one.I'm also very interested in seeing what the car looks like in Toronto Red.Hopefully they release pictures of all the colors at the reveal next week.

Yes, I think a bright red with an orange hue would look awesome on this car too!

I actually think it would be great if they offered some minivan colours, or at least Champagne Quartz or Titanium (see 2009 R35 GTR) for the fella who doesn't want to show up to the office in yet another black or white (or blue) BMW.

BTW, compared with Europeans, North Americans are more likely to buy bright colours.
Think about all the ruby red Toyotas, Hyundais, Kias... Mazdas, etc. that you see all over the place.

Yikes, I was hoping that the blue would be more pale than it appears here. This looks almost identical to Hyundai's N-Line baby blue. Not very original.

Really was hoping for a nice blue like portimao at least. Ideal would be San Marino blue. For me it'll come down to black or Brooklyn gray, or just be patient and wait until LCI and individual colors

No word on when/if individual will be offered.
Really???

Read this BMW: no individual= Go F yourself.

I do not want to blend in in a M- car.

The leaked photo has had the saturation cranked up siginigantly; check out the neon green grass. This is closer to a natural/neutral hue:

Here you go (BMW 1M - August 2010 - USA):
