Why is Bimmerpost so slow?

It takes several seconds for anything to load. Seems like the server is overwhelmed. I've noticed this for at least a week.

Yeah - It seems a bit slower than normal today for me, but the slowness has been a pretty serious issue for me over the past several weeks, not just today.

No attached images on Bimmerpost Server loading in threads.

Images on external servers load fine in thread.

Same with upload. And on repeated tries if it finally says it uploads, it is null with no pixels.

And yes, speed has slowed to a halt... most likely as attached images fail to load.

the bimmerpost admins seriously need to address the slowness thats going on. It's not even periodic slowness. It is a constant slow day after day no matter the time of day. We aren't in the 1990s anymore. Hire some competent folks and address it.

I'm gonna move away from bimmerpost for now

I noticed that my delays are almost always related to bpnotifications.php taking a while to respond (almost all the wait is at TTFB - Time To First Byte) so maybe the notification table needs to be pruned?
