Agreed on the pairing of TR with the sunroof being the better option. AW and BG would probably look better with the carbon roof and I am toying with the idea of adding it to my build now that I switched to AW. Especially for a very common color like white, carbon roof adds an element of distinction. Not sure even the ZB looks better with the carbon roof or without...

The CF roof appears to work with TR from this angle. I suppose it is a good thing that allocations have not come through yet as it provides more time to think about it.

But, in conjunction with other items, will offer additional performance. Plus resale value.

I think it works particularly well if you opt for the 963 wheels and especially well if there are other unpainted carbon bits.

The above is basically my current build. To-date the only thing that I have not second guessed is the exterior color.

Push comes to shove, I may just flip a quarter pertaining to the roof. I am serious too.

This. I highly suspect that the CF roof will be the option that many will desire when searching for a pre-owned unit and it will be more for the bling than the minuscule performance advantage. I believe that we will hear a lot of, “it is almost the perfect build, but it’s got the sunroof.”

Are there more pictures of TR with bi-colour wheels? In the Uk the carbon roof is standard so that decision has been made for me. I’m not a fan of either wheel option, but currently swinging towards bi-colour

Thanks. In the UK we are supposed to get black wing mirrors and rear lip spoiler. I think I have till April before I need to confirm my build. Currently thinking bi-colour, but if I’m not happy once it arrives there will be plenty of after market options

I'm sure you've seen the CF on the current M3/4's but maybe you need a refresher? Might be a good idea to go look at them in person, just make sure you close your eyes when you walk towards the front of those hideous things.
