N52 performance intake Genuine.

Hello everyone hope all is well. I’m curious if there’s anyone with some background/history of the part: 13720444750. A BMW original upgraded intake from the manufacturer. My main questions are basically how many were made, was it sold separate from buying new or was it only an option, and was it only sold in the states? I noticed that many of the performance parts websites say it only fits on a 128i, but I know people have installed on the E9X. So was it only available to the 128i at the time? Thanks!

Use realoem.com to check the cross reference for part numbers between models. The 2006 -2013 1-series is basically a shortened version of the E9X. It should be the same between the fenders under the hood.
