Those pops and bangs sound like shit. The burble thing is old and way over done. Can we just have an aggressive exhaust without all that shitty cracking?

Yes indeed you can, if you purchase the full system with our valve controller your able to turn the pops off (via having the m sound off) and the exhaust valves open with our stand alone remote. Then all you get is raw agressive sound without the pops. We will make a video showcasing this. |

“So you’re saying these aren’t off aliexpress or Alibaba ? These aren’t designed and made in Taiwan or China like you’re other stuff? I hope that’s the case. Would be awesome” (comment deleted by writer)
Let's discuss this in greater detail and we will put some things into perspective. Every company that produces exhausts for BMWs that you are familiar with produces overseas. The only exception is AWE who make great products right down the road from us here in Pennsylvania. The reason why we get flamed for this and you don't see these comments on other brands is that our brand started much differently than others. We started by being resellers but have evolved into doing our developments and engineering and still utilize overseas production. The main issue was quality, so we took the engineering and development process into our own hands inorder to craft products that fit well, flowed well, and are designed to last. We learned very early on that the items you can buy on Alibaba might look a certain way but do not hold up. That is why we do our own developments and engineer our own products because our goal is quality, regardless if it is produced here or elsewhere. Additionally, everything you touch is made overseas. If you want American-made, I recommend you purchase an AWE exhaust system. The team over there is awesome. But thats going to be your only option. It is also improtant to note there are other great companies manufacturing in the USA, but in this thread we are more referencing the key players in the G8x exhaust space. Additionally we invite you to put these alibaba products side by side with our exhaust systems and compare them. Our products may look similar to what you can buy on these websites but there are many finite details that go beyond the eye. If we were just drop-shippers, we would have failed long ago, just like the many companies whom you have never heard of. to end this message I assume your response is going to say: "But all these brands also produce in house" Respectfully to all these other great brands, they don't. But this should not be a problem. What should matter most, is whether you are getting a quality product for the money you are spending. That is all that counts at the end of the day, and that is what we are providing to enthusiasts worldwide. |

Nice work here fellas. But the amount of artificial pops & bangs just turns me off quite a bit.

As usual, everything else with the S58 sounds better than the G8X.

The web site just says 'mid-pipe' is that the equal length? Is there just one available for the G87, an equal length mid pipe? |

Agreed (and the pops & crackles aka machine tune sound to me is teenageish). Having that as the "default" is a negative, IMO. I much rather want to have the natural sound of the S58 be expressed. |

I agree that these ever-present cracks pops etc. do not appeal to me as I am not driving a 1980s tuned-at-the-limit WRC or a boy racer car. I wish the tone was a little deeper like the E36 M3 exhaust sound under full throttle.
