Heathrow is expensive but the gold standard for SAP and BW modules and I believe India is the place to go to get it cheaper.
To be honest once you have made the investment your day/hourly rate will have a fairly fast payback if you have relevant experience. I would look at it as say a 5 to 10 year investment and then it should all make more sense.

SAP is one of the main fully integrated software packages that multinational/blue chip companies use to run their business from supply chain, Hr throught to Finance and reporting. There are 5 modules to the software + Business Warehouse which is an excel or web based reporting tool. Experts who know how to do background IT based work or consultants who can help improve productivity from the system are highly sought after in the industry.

Here's a link to SAP Education (UK). You might be able to find some info on prices here.

SAP Test manger here. Most of the contractors I've had working for me paid for their own certification as they know they'll get the money back on £300-£400 a day.

hi,
i did a course on SAP BW about 2 years back with a company called idosap.. i can't say it was utterly amazing, but it was *only* about £2500 i recall. i will depend greatly on the instructor you get, i had some shit awful indian woman that hated me (or so it seems). In any case, i went and did my exam at scary SAP HQ by heathrow, and failed by 1% 6 months later, my company made all our SAP guys redundant and as i was not yet qualified and still working on Microsoft projects was not included in the cull! Thank fuck!! |
