Are BMW seats Interchangeable between g series's?

First time BMW owner wondering if anyone has tried this or if it can be done? With the 2 series only offering heated seats I was wondering if I could swap both driver and passenger seats out for a heated/ cooled seat from a newer 3-4 series? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!!from what I've googled it seems it can be done between the G platform *
