As you probably know our ship, GLOVIS SPIRIT, docked today in Brunswick a day late, but did your status change on MyBMW to "In Transit"??

Ah, sorry, I thought there was a step between shipping and "At Dealership"

Nonetheless, your car is likely off the boat today, early tomorrow! One big step closer...except for that damn "hold" on deliveries. GL.

Wow, no kidding. That is kind of odd but mine is still in "transit" so I guess we are both in similar boats. Do they say why they can't release them?
So me and my CA have became pretty good friends in the process and outta respect I marked some things out. But this is what he and the new car manager were told in an email from corporate. They both tried multiple routes of getting me in the car earlier than the 20th and this was corporates final response. TRUST ME, I'd love to find out different, because after taking a test drive it was hard to walk away. So if anyone hears differently be sure to let me know!

I actually just got an update that mine is on some ship called Sagittarius Leader voyage number 37. Whatever that means.... So at least its on a boat headed over. You would think coming from Mexico it would arrive via truck since we don't have a giant body of water in between the countries. What do I know I guess.

Mine told me it will either be 11/20, or 11/22 before I can take delivery.

Mine went to In Transit before it was even loaded on the Glovis Spirit in MX.

A quick search on the Sagittarius Leader shows it's off the west coast of Mexico currently. You m just be a west coast delivery? I've wondered the same, why don't they at least use rail to ship the cars up?

Woo Hoo! That means my car is definitely on US soil so I can call the BMW Genius Line tomorrow morning and get an ETA of when it should get to the dealership. Its getting closer! Next Tuesday the embargo lifts on reviews, and next Saturday should be saleable date for our cars.

I just spoke with a genius and they said to expect my car to move today or tomorrow. They said its showing delivery to the dealer by the 13th. Whether I can get it or not I definitely plan on driving down to look at it if it arrives this weekend

I feel like we are all being "punked" with this app. Mine just updated to "in transit" as well. However, I was told yesterday its on a ship headed to California I believe. Until it says, "at the dealership" I won't bet on anything yet for actual dates. I wanted to get a PPF ready to go with my car as soon as it lands in Las Vegas but the appointments are all booked. I am hoping I get mine friday before thanksgiving week.

From our experience the production status of "in transit" starts as soon as the car is at the export sea port in Mexico.

Ahh, thinking about it, you're right.

Before this update it was sitting ready for transport since October 13th. I may just give a genius a call to see what ship my car is on.

If it's West Coast shipping I think another member said their car was on "SAGITTARIUS LEADER"

They wouldn't disclose the ship, but the anticipated port arrival date is the 14th.

Overall, I think you're right and it's on the Sagittarius Leader.

Mine went from MX, then onto the Glovis Spirit to Brunswick, and now is in Baltimore and it still shows "at the port". I assumed it changed to in transit when it was on its way to the dealer.

That's odd that they wouldn't tell you. They told me that my M240 is on the Sagittarius Leader and the estimated arrival is the 14th. I'm sure you're on the same boat.

Here's a link so you can track that ship: https://shipinfo.net/find_vessel_Sag...MMSI-354410000
By my calculation, it'll be near the port in approximately 40 hours if they maintain their average speed from when they left Mexico.

After mine sitting in Final Assembly and Ready for Transport for nearly a month, I'm SO STOKED to finally see this thing move. It's gonna be fun doing the PDI on my own car too

I am considering getting a ceramic coating put on my paint. Do you think I would be a total jerk if I asked my dealer not to detail the car? I have heard horror stories about how these cars get "cleaned" after they get dropped off.

I don't think they'd mind. It's less work for them anyway! I'm planning on coating mine with AMMO Reflex as soon as I take delivery, so I'm just going to have them skip the detail as well.

Yeah it's odd, my car moved back a step now to "at the port". I guess when it's on a ship or a truck it moves to "in transit". What they need is a departure port and destination port step on each side so we don't panic
