Rear suspension thump on non-adaptive cars

Hey. I am going to spec my M240ix next week, and I discovered the infamous thump coming from the rear suspension.
Is this issue on cars NOT fitted with the adaptive suspension as well, or if I don't tick the box, can I be certain that my car will not produce the noise?

I have adaptive and don’t have this infamous noise.
