Replaced front struts...HELP.

Guys,

I’ve replaced my front strut assemblies but they seem too high now. I have made sure to buy standard struts non sport for my 2007 bmw 328i rwd. I also tightened the control arm under load when installing. The side tab of the strut is all the way in and resting on the knuckle so it can’t go down any more. Could the issue be the new springs themselves?

Here are the pics.

Either you got the wrong springs or you forgot to install your engine before taking the pictures.
