I got the message for an update yesterday and it started downloading to my phone. I hit cancel. I oddly got a roof not initialized error yesterday when I hit the button to close the shade.
I have several things coded with bimmercode that I don't feel like re-coding right now. |

Mine was stuck at 6% for over 24 hours. I downloaded the update to my phone and when I connected the phone to the car via BT and WiFi, it transferred the update and completed it. Still took a while to get it done, and even longer to code stuff back with BimmerCode. Wish there was an option to create a macro in BimmerCode and restore all changes at once.

I think BMW may have pulled this update.
I got a notification yesterday that an update was available, but today, when I click on it, it says no updates available. And I’m still in the old 07/2023 SW. Someone is saying in FB that they lost TPMS after the update. Wonder if there are issues and tgey pulled the update.

Reset the update by disabling Auto Updates in the M2's data privacy menu. Then I loaded the update on my phone, linked to the M2, and re-enabled Auto Updates. Then took only 30-minutes of driving to fully load the new file. Was instructed to park the car for 20-minutes, only to return to a "Failed to Install" message. Tried the install again with eventual success. Still have no idea what, if any new features were added? |

I just completed mine and did it via app as it says it’s faster. But it took about 45 min of driving and 20 min of standby to finally complete. Did not really see any obvious difference. I did lose my BimmerCode settings but just recoded them.

I also received the update and was succesful. I don't know what is new, could not find anything but I noticed that only part of my bimmercode was erased, some are still functioning (5x blinker, start-stop memory still working)

My 5x blinker definitely reset back to 3 only. The seat heating temperatures reset as well. The side mirror tilting angle in reverse went back to 90 percent. So it looks like many things got overridden. Will see if something does not work right the next time I drive the car.

I too was stuck at 6% for hours. Until I found the problem. On your iPhone, go to settings, MyBMW and make sure Local Network is ON (green). Once you do that it breezed by the install. 5 min to prep. Turn car off with parking brake on. Click install. 15 min to install. P.S. I did. Not have to drive. Simply set on my driveway with the car on to transfer/prep. Car off to install.

1- change the blinkers to a count of 5 2- change the option menu display to allow for the selection of 5 blinks in iDrive. What got reset for most of us was the display selection. But the 5 blinks were still active. If you go in the menu, neither option is selected (1 or 3 blinks). When you say your 5 blinks were reset, are you referring to what you saw on screen or actual blinker usage? If you choose an option (1 or 3) then it’ll take that choice. |

Did anyone notice the cross traffic audible alert actually working? Today when I backed out of a space it actually made a sound.

I don’t think I’ve ever backed out of a spot, that I can recall. Good to have feature if you ask me, glad it works as you’re describing it!
