What a nightmare! Very hard pass! LED's in the roof?
What is going on with the rear seat bench, is this BMW's take on a night club/lounge? Just missing disco ball lights in the roof. It's ying and Yang from the front seat classic lazy boy leather to the velvet rear lounge. BMW's US tier 1 suppliers will get indigestion manufacturing these parts, expect a lot of the interior to be sourced from overseas as I don't see North American suppliers stepping up their game.

The first stand alone M since the M1 is this.
I know you were waiting for the R8 competitor. That means you are no longer a BMW enthusiast. It means the brand is dead to you. |

It's….different. 🤷🏻
I'll reserve judgement at this time for when the actual production model is shown.

I thought M3/M4 front design was a joke until I actually saw my first one at the dealer. I threw up a little bit. The XM is…. I don't have enough non-profane words to describe the horror. I have a completely new appreciation for the Chris Bangle design era.

It would be nice if just one person in the BMW design team could say "yea, maybe this is a bit much"

It’s almost as if the members of the BMW design team have a bet as to who can design the worst looking car.

Everyone in here knows how this is going to go.
We'll hate on it for the entire time leading up to production, at which point about 70% of the haters will say it looks better in person, and the allocation waitlist shall begin in earnest. Yes, it's ugly, but it will sell. It won't be a volume car like an X5, but it's got enough of a slap-your-eyeballs factor to get the "nouveau riche" crowd to get off the Urus waitlist and join this one, especially if the performance is at Urus levels (already there for the X5/6M so this is not hard). I have to imagine pricing will be lofty, maybe 160K++. I'm not sure the BMW roundel has that kind of clout, and most luxury makers already know the 150k-200k segment is tough, especially with Porsche running it, and the supercar makers being just a bit of a budget stretch ahead (Aston/Lambo/Bentley). |

Nice concept some bits are better and some other bits are worse as usual. But those TIRES the F* 295/30 we are getting close to truck territory soon we will have cars with 385 tires, that is mental.

I don't think the production model will be as bonkers. The Concept 4 was also a lot more wild than the actual 4 series. Gotta admit I like everything but the grill.
