No Communication with DSC, probably the least of my worries

Hey, bought this 2006 325i with 80k KM on it. Was $2888, seller claimed the DSC module was faulty and had it diagnosed by a reputable mechanic nearby.

I called the mechanic before purchasing and they did confirm that the DSC is faulty and they provided a link on ebay for the dude to order. (He gave me this part with the purchase)

He hadn't driven it for 4 years so it was sitting until february of this year when he brought it to the mechanic and started driving it on weekends again.

He instead decided to sell it as he was 80 years old and just didn't feel comfortable driving anymore as his vision was going. Thought it was a great deal for me until today.

These are all the UIF's when I first got the car before any replacementAttachment 3511520

Finally got the new DSC unit in and INPA cannot find it at all. The original DSC module wasn't found by INPA either but this replacement presumably works.

I'll include photos of INPA UIF screen. Some of my modules seem to have y's for the VIN. Also including photos of all the fault codes

Starting to think he possibly jumped it wrong and fried something cause this does not look right at all.

I did also try to communicate with the DSC using NCSexpert and that also got me nowhere.

Any suggestions?

Here are the modules tonight after the new DSC install. No DSC at all and something new seems broken

Vin is WBAVB13576PT24010, if anyone has any fuses I should be checking. Trying to find diagrams myself but not having much luck

Just noticed original DSC is part number 3451-6775386-01 and new one is 3451-6771488-01 Looking up both they seem to be coming back to my car 06 325i

If it matters the lights on the dash are ABS, DSC, Brake light, Check Engine, Wipers constantly going, No speedometer, No live fuel economy gauge.

Found this site with a fuse diagram, have fusebox type 1 https://fusesdiagram.com/bmw/fuse-bo...bmw-3-e90.html

I checked F20, F31, F36. Didn't use a multimeter for continuity but visually all fuses were perfect. I know there is the white box at the passenger side engine bay. Is there any fuses or relays to check in that?

Make sure you’re reading UIF with the car running or ignition is on correctly. If ignition is off dsc won’t populate.

Check fuses F35, F65 and F20

Check fuses F35, F65 and F20
Tried ignition on and car running and got nothing

Gone through F35, F65, F20 and all have continuity and are showing 12v on both ends.

Also checked a bunch of pins on the DSC connector to confirm it was getting signals from the PT-Can and others. That was pins

1 shows 12v
17 shows 12v
32 shows 12v
16 x170 ground like pin 47
42 shows nothing
11 shows 3.1v
15 shows 2.5v
26 shows 1.9v
30 shows 2.3v

Today checked the LDM for connector to make sure it was getting voltages, got these readings.

5=3.1v
6=2v
16=12v
17=ground
18=11v

Got more responses on the general forums post I made linked below, if you wanna take a look. But more or less I've just been testing those connectors I listed above to make sure they have voltage. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...php?p=31342823

Seems like this DSC may be incompatible or fully dead, along with my LDM being dead.

No idea if the LDM needs the DSC to function as this new DSC has caused a cruise control error light to pop up once I installed it. Never had that before replacing.
