Don't understand the animosity.

BMW is designing polarizing cars since a while. I'am completely in love with this G42, but I understand that others may feel offended by it. Instead of being indifferent, BMW fans might want to ventilate their aversion.

Since a car is just an object, why does this immediately translate into personal attacks? It's not that anybody here personally designed this car isn't it?
Don't think anyone is interested to be honest.

Ah I see!!

Although I don't really see the resemblance, comparing the G42 with a BRZ didn't seem such a dreadful insult to me.. at all.

Yes! Our wheels will be here soon. Specs will be shared when they arrive. I’ve got supra wheels here and a few other combos we can test. Will do a video on it 👌

We’ve held off as we have new wheels incoming but I can confirm that 12mm & 15mm will give you the perfect stance

The spec
- Brooklyn Grey Paint
- Cognac Leather interior
- 19" 893 M Double-spoke Bicolour Alloy
- M Adaptive Suspension
- M Sport Brakes with Red Callipers
- Technology Pack

The M240i didn’t receive the best of reactions when images were first released and to be completely honest, we weren’t in love with the car either until we saw it in the flesh. It’s been involved in controversy since day one but with the right mods, we think this car has the potential to turn heads for all the right reasons.

Being the first brand new car that we have brought as a company, it was a special day for us going to pick it up. Tony Lewis (@trldeals) made it even better, giving us the special treatment down at BMW Croydon - a big thank you to him and the rest of the team. Watch our first impressions and first drive video here:

Our MD Jack drove it back to AUTOID HQ where it was put straight on our ramp, you didn’t think we’d buy a car and leave it stock for longer than 24 hours did you?
When are you guys fitting the rear spoiler??

Is that using the 893 wheels? I have them spec’d on my order and would like to move them out a bit.

Yeah we've been impressed.

I'll be totally transparent. The JB4 has been hugely inconsistent. We've not been able to get great numbers with it since and I am actually going to remove it. The car feels so great stock, not sure I need it.

100 I would remove it , the car stock is spot on , and soon we should be able to get a proper custom stage 1 tune , I'm not a fan of JB4s personally and generic tuning boxes, I think a custom tune is always the win especially for constancy and even then stock is more than enough especially with 410 bhp lol

None the less impressive figures.

Once tuners crack the box it will give me an excuse to take a roadtrip across America for a custom tune. However, my luck the premier tuner will probably be in Dallas or Houston.

The racechip on the 340 that autotopnl did seemed pretty consistent, maybe worth a try?

So if you don’t like it, why waste your time here? Not being smart, legitimate question. I don’t understand why people, who don’t like a car, hang out in the forum.
Haha! I am not crazy about the car but I am very curious to see it in person I'm hoping to be wrong with my initial impression! 🤣
