Ive seen the 4, 6, 10 piece kits on FCP euro that are the usual oem brand like lemforder, and ive seen some synchromesh control arms that are pretty pricey like 600 bucks for like 2 arms with monoball bushings, and ive seen the moog arms. Which would be a good solid replacement? Do control arms make that big of a difference? Recently replaced shocks with koni, huge improvement but my ride quality is still rough so Im about to replace the run flats with PS4 A/S or DSW 06 plus, and control arms will that finally smooth things out? Im wondering where the power curve is with suspension and tire upgrades, which parts have the biggest impact. The DSW 06 tires are marked down to 123 a piece righ now at tire rack, 495$ for all 4 plus shipping which is a good price for any tire especially conti DSW 06's. What are some good control arms to go with?

If you need the entire Thrust Arm, which runs from bottom of spindle rearward to subframe (on 328xi, AWD) Autohaus had those for $76 each several months ago.

On my 3/2007 build 328xi E91, my rear bushings (as shown in link above) on Thrust Arms were getting sloppy. You can test by simply jacking (safely ;-) & using a large screwdriver as wedge to lever arm front-to-rear as you check for movement. That was ALL that was needed on mine. The Control Arms that run from spindle INWARD toward front Diff are still fine.

I have new set of Conti RSC Runflats & car is quiet, smooth & Stable, with very precise steering, & I regularly enjoy back roads. I've never understood WHY folks trash Runflats.

My suggestion is to first test LARGE bushings at rear of Thrust Arms, & if those are sloppy, just replace those. Then re-assess.
