Think of the most confident, secure, men you know. It could be friends, family, celebrities or even a character. Can you imagine any of these models of masculinity using the phrase "beta male?" Of course not.

What does that tell you?

That one of them should’ve been responsible for picking a nice, cool, bright, bold, confident BLUE

Nah. I think it is just the overcast for some of the pictures.

Also single soucing may not be allowed for certain components. I know this is an issue for some companies

Joe Rogan? He's super masculine right?

I actually think this is the most masculine blue possible, because one would have to be confident and secure for it to be an option.

Interesting perspective

That said, it takes a real man to pull off pink, but ZB is definitely not a masculine blue.

It's literally comical that people assign degrees of masculinity to colors and take themselves seriously

Like I said before, ZB will be controversial but in 10+ years a clean ZB M2 will be the most desired color amongst the enthusiasts.

That and when it's no longer offered as stock but as individual only, people will clamor to get it

I definitely don't take myself seriously when commenting one the "masculinity" of a color, I definitely find it entertaining.

The back windows are definitely lightly tinted and this is not untypical of BMW

I have been collecting European classics for 30+ years. I hate to inform you, but it will take longer than “10+ years” for a ZB G87 to be coveted. It will take a minimum of fifteen years after production ceases in 2029/2030.

The word NEVER comes to mind. Its the most poorly received color in the BMW World currently.

The only thing that comes to mind for me is when I found Pirelli makes p-700 period correct tires for the E30 M3 which I put on my Cecotto. It’s something I found to be the coolest small detail ever, but again, I’m sort of obsessive about crap like that.

For instance, Porsche uses Pirelli tires and I haven’t heard of any hate about how it ruins the car in anyway vs Michelin.

Add’t at the bmw Performance center, they exclusively use continental tires and I was super impressed with the cars’ handling vs riding in a colleagues M4 with Michelins.
I had Pirelli on my 991 GTS, Michi on my M4 and Bridgestone on my 992. Pirelli were very temp sensitive, rubbish when cold, especially in the wet and when hot they were sticky, overall very inconsistent. And they only lasted a few thousand KMs. The Bridgestone were actually overall a better tyre. But of course the Michi were best in all dimensions.

I cannot argue with that, but I will state that there was not a whole lot of love for Laguna Seca Blue or Phoenix Yellow 22 years ago on the E46 M3. That has since changed.

The reality, there will not be many individuals from here that will still own their pre-LCI G87 by the time values begin to slowly climb.

It stings to see a purple M240 knowing you can't get the M2 in that color. Come on! Why is the M2 color palette so boring?
