Hmmm have been driving the car for a bit now. Notice sometime the car is shaking on the highway. I came from Ford Fusion driving the same road never felt this much more shaking.

Anyone else experienced the same?

😂 no, it isn't from the steering wheel.

It is more like a bumpy road. But I know the road isn't that bumpy since I drove it so many times with other cars. This only happen like 35% of the times I am on the highway.

Perhaps do a visual check of your shocks/spings. I know sometimes they forget to take off the transport blocks.

Keep in mind this car's suspension is much more rigid (even with the magna suspension) than your Fusion. Your mention of "shaking" left me mystified, but then you said if feels more like a bumpy road. You will feel road imperfections and bumps much more in this car than your Fusion. Someone once mentioned that the ride quality to them seemed much more "hyper" than their previous car.

ALso, what drive mode were you in, comfort or sport? Even in comfort this car will be taunter than many other cars. It is not known for its comfy cruise-ability compared to typical family sedans or SUVs.

Contributing to harshness also are run flat tires, do you have those on the car? You can also get this with 35 aspect tires that do not contribute to ride quality either.

I did tried all the mode not much different.
I do have non run flats however I changed my summer tires with a new set of all seasons.

However it is 35 aspect ratio

You've mentioned you have recently change to AS. Maybe wheel balance not correct? Was it the same vibration with the original set of tyres?

tbh I didn't notice before I changed the tires.

Could be they forgot to add the weights or didn't add it correctly

If you pass into, through, and out of periods of vibration when increasing or decreasing by certain speeds, it is most likely tire balance. Note if you feel it more in the steering wheel (front tires) or the seat (rear tires). Also, not all tires are perfectly manufactured and can also be inherently out of round. Find a place with a Hunter Road Force balancer to eliminate/assess the most likely issue.

What can help you determine if it is pavement irregularities or bumps vs out of balance tire/wheels is find a real nice smooth pavement road and drive it, out of balance will usually show up most at 60-65 mph. Pay attention to your ride quality relative to pavement quality. You should be able to distinguish between vibration vs harshness of ride quality. If you are getting a vibration like feeling that is consistent in the frequency on a super smooth road look for out of balance or out of round tires.
