New tires/spacers for stock m193 wheels
Looking for guidance from those who have messed with this before. I've had my 2010 e90 335i msport since new. Did the entire suspension 2 years ago, to include bilstein b12 (b8 shocks/struts and eibach springs), m3 control arms ,etc.
Still on stock wheels with michelin run flats in 225/40R18 and 255/35R18. Ride is pretty rough and harsh with the new suspension, so its time to get non-run flats. Would like to space out the wheels and maybe get a slightly taller sidewall as well. The car rides slightly lower than stock sport suspension. What would be recommended for spacers and tire size to achieve a better ride and better fit in the wheel arches. Thanks |

You're on a rather stiff suspension and run flats are firm compared to standard tires. You've gone up in ratio which helped slightly but PS4S' would be a great choice, I've been on them for six years and love them. I'm running 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 on stock suspension.

B12 is not great for comfort; it's lower than stock (obviously) but the springs are barely any stiffer, so you really just ride the bump stops much harder.
To add comfort you really just want to add as much sidewall as you can. Also, I'm not sure what your driving priorities are, but a softer tyre (not performace-focussed) would be more comfortable; even just a PS4/5 instead of the S version would be more comfortable. I have 235/40/18 and 245/40/18 on my 2007 e91. The rears do not fill out the arches obviously (pre-LCI and narrower tyre), but comfort is marginally better than stock sizes. PS5 tyres. I'm tempted to suggest just going up a sidewall from stock sizes - maybe 225/45/18 and 255/40/18? |

No spacers. the fitment is spot on in my opinion.

Here’s how my 328i E90 sat on the B12 Kit
Front: 18x9" ET30 with 235/40-18 tires Rear: 18x9.5" ET35 with 265/35-18 tires No spacers, no rubbing, also did the camber mod on the top hats for the front suspension for a tiny bit of extra camber Non run flat tires would help with ride quality, you could also just add a small spacer to achieve the flush fitment in the front, rear you may run into slight slight rubbing if you put any spacers, just make sure you get the proper length lug bolts, wheel studs if you get any spacers. |
