Half engine light with 2ABD code

Code reads out as intake pressure sensor re-running

It will only hit about 10psi on jb4 map 2
Then goes into limp mode

No changes were made to the car to cause the code

Car is a 07 335i 100k miles
Jb4 tune Catless downpipe bms dci
Vrsf charge pipe with tial bov

Any ideas what's causing this?

quick google search says:
2ABD:
2ABD Intake pressure sensor, re-running
EXPLANATION: Map sensor connectivity issue. Often comes up when TMAP is unplugged from charge pipe blowing off.
FIX: Clear code. If it comes back, check tune related wiring or TMAP sensor.

try that for starters

Maybe related to the 30FF boost leak. Check all charged air clamps and vacuum lines.

Check connection on the sensor on the manifold too. Also maybe try clearing the code with MHD instead of jb4. I was getting this code every day or 2 for a while and then it finally stopped after doing the above...

i was getting this code every so often and it stopped. Didn't do anything to the car.

might be an adaptation thing if you're using the 4bar or 3.5bar sensor

Replaced map sensor but still throwing the same 2ABD code

Any other ideas?

Could this be caused by a possible boost leak?

Problem with The Jb4 board?

2ABD CODE on start up

Hey Guys I have a an 09 335i coupe that I've bought with a blown engine. I swapped the engine with a healthy one and while I was at it I replaced my turbos with the TD04L Turbos 2 inch inlet & upgraded billet.

I am struggling with the 2ABD" Boost pressure over run" code on startup as well as the boost pressure too high code when pushing it also occasionally I get multiple misfire code and cylinder 1 misfire code.

upgrades
1- DP's
2- 2 inch Inlet/ outlet
3- JB4
4- TMAP 3.5 bar
5- Active Autowerke Charge pipe
6- 5 Inch intercooler
7- MHD Stage 2+ tune
8- XHP Flash

All Vacuum lines, boost solenoids, spark plugs, coils, valve cover gasket, OFH gasket, oil pan gasket have been replaced.

Also smoke tested in my shop and didn't find any leaks.

I have a full blown shop and did all the work on my own.

I appreciate your input on this, what ever you think would help as this is getting really frustrating and I am sick of throwing money at it.

In my opinion is a tuning issue, but I am getting a new boost pressure sensor link http://a.co/fzRC2go tomorrow and will update.

Thank you for all your input

Ryan

I’m having a similar problem. Did the sensor fix your issue? I feel as though I get absolutely zero boost under 100% throttle.

Usually means wrong JB4 or flash setting for TMAP sensor is being used.

I'm having the same problem, but I haven't changed anything since buying the car and the code has showed up. FBO 2008 335i N54. It's throwing code 2abd Boost Pressure Sensor Overrun. I'm having boost oscillations and the JB4 is showing me that I'm holding like 12psi with no throttle sometimes. It gives me the half CEL and has sent me into limp mode before. Problem is still there when I'm in map 0 too. Any suggestions?
