Question SZL coding question.

Hi all,
I'm relatively new to coding but trying to learn. Today I retrofitted cruise control to my 10/2006 E91 with a used SZL module. I plugged the new one back in, put everything back together, added $540 to the VO in the FRM and CAS, and coded the whole car (I think). I took it for a drive and turned the wheel full lock both ways, both before and after the drive, however it's still got 3 lights on the dash, ABS, brake, and traction control. The code shown is "5DD2 5E50 Steering-angle sensor: serial number invalid" and something about calibration. In INPA I can see when I turn the wheel that it tracks it correctly and that when the wheels are straight the cursor is in the center.

Sorry for the long post, I thought I should give you all the information I know.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Cheers,
Matt

Default code dsc, go straight to tool32, load up dsc and run lenkwinkel_dsc_abgleichen. Open inpa, clear codes. Key out, start car and warning should be gone with SZL coded to car.

Thanks for that! When I load up Tool32 and select DSC_87, there are no jobs at all... actually there are no jobs on any files... Do you know why that is?
Cheers,
Matt

Have you updated datens? If not go to bimmergeeks.net and download e89 datens. Update via bmw coding tool.

Thanks all for your help. I am currently downloading the daten files and will give that a go tomorrow. I was just browsing through my .TRC file now and I found "CRUISE_CTRL - NICHT_AKTIV". I know this won't cause the errors that I'm experiencing, but could this be why my cruise control isn't yet working? None of the tutorials that I've seen have mentioned it at all. I would have assumed it would have changed when I changed the VO and recoded the car with defaults. Which module is this in? When I try to use cruise control, it just dings and displays a cruise control symbol on the dash with an exclamation mark.
Steep learning curve but I'm getting there! Appreciate all of your time.
Cheers,
Matt

I don't mean to hijack the thread but i recently retrofitted ACC to my car but. Don't hav the stalk to adjust following distance yet, is there a way to change the default following distance by coding so the gap isn't as far between me and the car in front of me? Feel like I'm holding up traffic

Update. I recoded the dsc with the empty .MAN file, and got Tool32 working and calibrated the steering angle as instructed. No change. Still getting code 5DD2 in the DSC module and all the lights are still on the dash. Cruise control still not working. Any other ideas anyone? Starting to get really frustrating, I can't find out anything else online, and can't think of anything else.
Cheers,
Matt

Another update. Got the error fixed. I just needed to calibrate the ABS inlet valves for some reason. Did that and all the lights were gone. Cruise control still doesn't work, however. Shows the yellow image on the dash with an exclamation point.
