Congratulations you have bought into the consumerist mindset that companies advertise to you daily! You are their perfect zombie customer!

There’s nothing wrong with keeping a car a long time—-it all depends on if you enjoy it. Buying more stuff doesn’t mean your life will be any better or more fun.

What I'm saying is .... compared to an aftermarket like KW. Check out YouTube. Plenty of cases already of warranty denials.

5% currently saying they would not buy again at this stage in the cars life cycle seems like a lot. but i don't have anything to benchmark against obviously.

Seems low to me, as when recent car buyers and those for the 2 previous model years were asked would they buy the same car again, only 73% of BMW owners said yes, Tesla was the highest at 82%: https://www.moneytalksnews.com/auto-...ed8beeed2b27ec

I’m curious to hear from the 5 of you who said you wouldn’t buy it again. Is it because you disliked something about the car, regretted the purchase, or are you saying you had your taste and now it’s time for something new (like someone alluded to above)?

i am sure there is some level of bias being on a brand specific forum vs a more agnostic level of survey, but exactly how much, hard to say.

i understand folks not wanting to identify themselves as regretting the purchase. i do wonder how much is getting in financially over their head, vs dissatisfaction with the product, vs people who didnt really know what they were getting themselves into with a car of this class. maybe someone will chime in.

Smile Yes, I would buy it again, and again, and again.

I had the opportunity to buy a new 2023 M2 in May of 2023 - VBlue, with practically every CF trim option offered at the time by BMW. It was initially ordered by someone else (with a deposit) several months before me with practically all the exhaust and CF sport options. When the car came in he was notified but did not return the salesman's call for a little too long. The dealership gave up on him and told the salesman to sell the car if he knew someone who'd want to buy it....that'd be me. The sport exhaust, Ti diffuser, tips, Ti pipes, and parts added over 10k to the MSRP. I wouldn't have chosen that or the "blue" color given the choice. It does not have the CF, sport buckets and I'm so glad about that. The car is more comfortable for my 6-3 (230#) frame than any of the 911s I previously owned. It is a manual and not my daily. I love driving it though. After trying to replace a manual 911 sold in 2019 I finally gave up last year, swearing off Porsche forever because their dealership was so unhelpful and arrogant (and to a repeat customer). This car beats the previous 911s at this stage in several areas. It's faster, more comfortable, more practical, less than half the cost to buy and maintain, more scarce on the street, and goes like squat if you're so inclined..... Its road handling, manual shifter, and transmission are first-rate despite what you hear on YouTube. I said what I said because I probably would not have selected all the CF do-dads that were already installed (ie. CF side curtains, front and rear aero, etc.), and saved 10-12K. Fortunately, I did not have to pay over MSRP so I swallowed the cost of the installed options already on the build sheet. I'll say it again, I love driving this car and it puts a smile on my face every bit as much as the earlier 911s did when I owned them....and yes, I would buy it again.

Kinda along the same lines as the original question...I am curious for all of you that have ZB...it looked so great in the showroom but I was afraid, after a few months of staring at it every day, it would lose that appeal so I chickened out and went with BSM. Not that I'm complaining about BSM, it looks fantastic, but after you've had ZB for a 6 months - do you still love it as much?

Possibly the owners bitching about A/C vents missing in the back seat.

I’m thinking of getting the g87 m2 but I heard it has no steering feel and that the bucket seats are uncomfortable. Should I get a manual with bucket seats anyways?

steering feel is subjective but i have no issues with mine now that i am on lighter forged wheels with summer tires. it is very accurate and you get plenty of feedback through the chassis and suspension. buckets are try before you buy.
