I see Chicago, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. I figure why not Indiana? We are only the home of the "greatest spectacle in racing"! Maybe if we can get enough people together we can do some laps on 465.

I'd suggest we forget 465 and maybe head down through brown county to Bloomington. Some fun roads.

Brown county is really nice in the fall too. The only downside is that you might get stuck behind some slow cruzing Harleys.

There is a 100 mile loop in the brown county/bloomington area with a lot of fun curves.

Any of you own a space gray metallic 335i coupe with wheels painted dark gray? It also had an aero lip. I saw it parked in the BMW parking section at the Grand am Rolex race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Friday.

If you are going to host a meet, do some laps where it counts!

nick 55, how much did it cost to reserve the track for a day?

Looks like most people would like to drive around Brown County. I have only been through Brown County a couple of times to go to Nashville. Can anyone suggest a good course to take through there?

As far as I know, it costs $1k to reserve the track for a lap, regardless of how many people are in your group. I have a friend who used to own an Indycar team and he owed me a favor. We had a guided tour of the museum, the track, the basement(which houses the Holman-George family's personal collection), and a lap on the track. We were given a few guidelines. We couldn't pass the pace vehicle(big surprise), could take as long as we wanted, and were to "try" and keep our speeds below 150(which feels like 50 on there). After that, we took a trip to brown county, but the track time absolutely made everything else boring. I had many people that have financial means to do anything(one had a bachelor party at Hockenheim, Nurburgring, and Monaco), and it was pretty awesome to see their faces when we saw the basement and after the lap because that day was something they couldn't spend any amount of money to duplicate.

That is awesome. I'd love to take a lap in my car. A Silverado at 100 wasn't as fun when I was working for Indycar.

Hey guys im in purdue university, new to indiana.... can some of you guys recommend me some good shops around here? im looking to put some new wheels and rims to my car also might put a new hood and do some work to the exhaust. any help is really appreciated XD

Bloomington right here. Not too surprised there aren't many of us, I tend to see a lot more E46 and older around here. I actually went up to Carmel to get my car.
