M3 DCT paddles will fit a sport paddleshift wheel (definitely pre lci anyway).

They fit but not perfectly..... There'll be a small gap between paddle & wheel.

Had them on my sport wheel and they seemed fine tbh. Can't say I noticed and gaps or anything.

Appeared to fit the cutout fine.

Once the airbag is removed (flat blade screwdriver to release the retaining spring) it's one screw and the plug into the multifunction button panel each side.

Exactly as that. Very straight forward and plug and play.

I just bought an entire M3 steering wheel in new condition on eBay for £225!
Might be worth having a look.

It's plug and play. No resistors etc needed as yours is pre-LCI and the DCT paddles are pre-LCI too. Just remove airbag and unbolt/unplug.
