Question about tire 265/35/19 Fitment e92 335i

Hi,*

I am a noob. Trying to understand ho2 these tires sizes, offset work. But havung some issues.
I currently have 235/35/19 up front, and 265/30/19 in thr rear on pre LCI e92 335i stock sport suspension offset ET35. My rear tires (265/30/19's) are worn out.

I am aware that I can go with the 265/30/19 or 275/30/19 (from wgat I read) but*
I have a oppertunity to purchase a pair of Michelin Pilot Super Sport in size 265/35/19
for a great price. Will I have any rubbing issues? Speedo issues? Traction control issues?

Very grateful for the help!

Nobody runs it because it's way too tall, and totally incorrect for your car. stick with 255/30 or 265/30 to stay within specs.

1 last question. What if I roll/Pull the fenders? Would that fix the issue?

Reason why majority runs 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 is for two reasons.

1. Safest bet that you wont have rubbing issues
2. Close enough rolling diameter difference between the two with no rubbing

Looking at rolling diameter, 275/30/19 actually pairs better with 235/35/19, however with 275/35/19 you may have a slight rub as you go over dips or bumps on the road.

This rubbing will be mainly attributed to two factors, one being the tire manufacturer (as some sidewalls sit more square or bulge more, and some slant inward) and second being the wheel offset and width.

So could you put a 265/35/19 tire on the rear without rubbing, most likely yes (considering offset and width allow), however your rolling diameter takes quite a bit of an increase in overall number.
Car will sit higher off the ground and speed will be off.

You would need to run 225/40/19 front in order to match to 265/35/19 rear. And I am not sure if that size would have rubbing issues at the front. My guess would be yes. But most of all your car would look so jacked up of the ground, it would look ridiculous.

I have 265/35/19 in my rear (oem M3 size) but I have a pre-lci sedan which gives me a bit more room to play with.

If you're lowered you might have issues. On stock non-sport suspension, you might be ok, especially with an offset of 35 on a 8.5-9.5" wheel.

Larger bumps you may still rub, hard to tell. See how much space you have now, keeping in mind a worn tire of the same size will be smaller than a new tire. If there looks like there's decent space, give it a shot!

how much clearance do you have? Coupe or Sedan? the 35 vs. 30 sidewall is enough to make a difference, which is why most run the size you have (265/30).

Might be a bit tight when you factor in suspension travel on bumps, plus the fact that OP has a coupe, which has less room to work with than the Pre-LCI sedan (from what I remember, LCI sedan, and Pre and Post coupes are similar, with Pre-LCI sedan having a narrower rear track, allowing more space for aggressive fitments).
