Cleveland Area Meet / Track Day
Folks asked about a Cleveland area meet. We could do a combination meet / track day at Nelson Ledges Road Course on Friday July 18th.
Nelson Ledges holds open track days they call "fun days". They are $120 for drivers and $5 for passengers. While they will let anyone drive, I don't recommend it as a first time driving event. But we could make it a great day for drivers and passengers. Gates typically open at 8AM, on-track at 10AM and done at 4PM. I propose those who are driving get there in the morning. Those who want to go for rides with e90 members (including me; I'll be on-track) could come closer to 11AM. We could all bring stuff to cookout on the grounds. We drive, we ride, we have a cookout, we look at each other's cars. We listen to darkcloud try to sell us his wheels. I'm going no matter what. If enough other folks want to go, we can get serious about dividing up food responsibilities. Who's in? Will you be a driver or passenger? |

Hey, theres nothing wrong with a shameless plug to sell the wheels. So..... does anyone want to buy them
My only gripe about this meet is that its a Friday. I'm sure attendance would be low due to many of us having to work. Do they not have any open days on the weekend?

Nelson Ledges doesn't normally schedule open track days on the weekend unless they can't sell the track that weekend. The only scheduled Saturday open track day remaining is November 1st. They still have a couple unsold weekends which would possibly turn into open days if they don't sell.
I'm hoping enough people can take off a day / have flexible schedules to make it happen. Heck, I'd be up for another one on November 1st when they do have it on a Saturday. |

Looks like there is a decent Cleveland showing on this board! I'm in Strongsville. My E92 should be delivered right around the 17th, but I'm already booked that Friday. My family is doing a Relay For Life team (for my pops) and the relay is that Friday / Saturday.
I'll be hitting you guys up for winter set up recommendations! |

FUUUUUUUDGE, Sorry, I missed this post
I'm a member over at myMBonline.com but I find there are NO, and i repeat, NO Worthy modded cars in Cleveland other then myself and some friends. Anyone ever hit up Beechwood during those Euro meets? ALi

at 120.00 per driver, is that right? I did a track in jersey that was only like 30bucks for the track time and I think it was any time of the week.
