inactive climate control menu after CIC retrofit
Hi again everyone, we completed CIC & Combox retrofit and completed coding last week. I have a few issues and one of them is my climate controls. Not sure what is the correct term for it (air distribution, vent settings etc) but as you know in old CCC systems, I could set the air distribution for 3 way with a passenger graphic (I attached a sample pic), but now in CIC, I can see only one menu and options inactive (I attached my cic climate control menu screenshot with Turkish words, the first option says "independent ventilation" and as you see its inactive). My climate control unit the same, I did not changed that unit. Probably, my problem cause of coding huh ? Or, with this climate controller unit I can not get any options in CIC's climate menu? Thanx for helpings guys...

So it means...my car pre-LCI (2007) and I can not adjust air flow as in CCC screen? Did you check the attached CIC climate screen? At the top of menu, I see "independent ventilation" option but it is inactive, why, it must be inactive on CIC? Or car must be LCI, I dont understand sorry

Sorry for upping this old thread, but I did not see any option in IHKA to be able to adjust air flow in CIC. If you know something, would you please share it with us, because I try almost every option in CIC to activate seatheating adjustment and air flow in CIC but no success.
My car is 11.05 325i. |

E90 with CIC did not have that function. Climate menu in E90 with CIC only controls parked car ventilation and ventilation timer.

There are few ihka variant options in cic trace file such as ihka I2, ihka for e89, ihka l4 and so on. In many cases it does not select right option, even if you try cic to code for VO. If the car is e9X, you should select the option for ihka l2 and set also 'ihka auto toggle popup' to aktiv. (auto intensity option should be also aktiv) Then code it. A popup window to set auto intensity opens when you push auto button. Facelift e90 only supports that option.
