cylinder 1 misfire diagnostic error

The other day I was on the road and I hit the throttle and the car started to stutter. The car almost seemed to start vibrating. The service engine soon light came on after a minute, so I pulled the car into a parking lot, turned it off for 5 minutes, then restarted it and it acted fine. I still took it directly to the dealer and they said since the light was not on they could not diagnose it at the time and said it was either an injector, a spark plug, or a spark plug coil, but it was a misfire in cylinder 1. I took the car home and the next day the same problem arose. Without turning the car off, I took it to the dealer and they said it was a misfire in cylinder 1 again, and they replaced the spark plug and spark plug coil in cylinder 1 and said it should be fine. I started driving afterwards and the problem came back again.
Does anyone know how to diagnose this problem or give any insight? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the help.

Interested due to I'm having the similar problem except mine is with the #6 cylinder. Also I just had valves cleaned and problem continues.

Sounds like it could be the injector. Either that or there may be some carbon deposit on the piston causing a hot spot or something along those lines
