The cut lines for the lights in the bumper are definitely different.

Show me/us this dealership with dozens of ///M's lingering on lots. It's surely isn't occurring at any dealership I've seen. |

Those 5 are not excluded from being ordered cars that just haven't been picked up yet. |

Aesthetically looking very promising...the lower front bumper is a bit too busy in my eyes...hopefully just some fake vents for now
410hp base? That's weak, even the M240i has close to 390hp The AMG A45S has 415hp, the upcoming Nissan Z will have 400hp and the new WRX STi will deliver something similar... Many track guys are buying the new Toyota GR86 and GR Yaris because they have a huge range of aftermarket parts support and are very fast once modded...much cheaper to run because of their simplicity in design and a light weight body ~1280kg I don't think sales will be as strong as the F87 if they go conservative and mediocre on the performance front. The G87 has to be quite a bit stronger than the F87 to lure interest back. Don't be afraid to step on the toes of the M3/M4 is what I am alluding...the M3/M4 are for a different demographic, they are for people who wants a larger car with more luxury. They don't care about lap times. Many of them have other cars or bikes to fulfil that need. If driving pleasure and speed is the first priority, the M2 should be positioned as THE car in the range I will get the new GR86 for sure and will definitely want to get the G87 as well but they have to make it attractive performance wise. The F87? I will keep for forever Last edited by Karmic Man; 01-13-2022 at 08:24 PM.. |

There is so much talk that new M2 will not be available with an X Drive option.
I've not read through all 33 of this thread yet but wondered if anyone has any more solid information if that is actually true or if that we will get a X Drive option with time. My plan was to have my M240 until a X Drive M2 variant is available. I like to think they will Grace us with such a variant I.e X Drive especially as there is aX drive option on the new M4/M3 but something tells me the talk maybe true and it will be a RWD only car. What do you think ? And BMW insiders to shed some light if possible 👀 Either way looks like it's going to be a great car and a stunner imo. |

Can't have it all and it's looking decent, but please bin the horribly ugly G8x side mirrors. They're just terrible, please get them off the M2.

Silhouette looks good, think the front bumper could have been better designed to look more aggressive and would have preferred vertical slats on the grille. Bracing myself for the final reveal, hoping they don't screw this one up!

Not seen so far…and I think they will follow their strategy as usual and keep some things exclusive to the higher class M cars like the carbon seats, laser lights, full leather option and so on…always been the case
