Same here, I went for M240i BSM as well, M sport pack, comfort pack, sunroof, m technology pack.
Couldn’t make mind up between purple or black, think most people will go for purple :
so went for black in the end

I personnaly don’t think so. Think the white, black and grey will be the primary colors…

More people will go for the white and black and possibly Brooklyn Grey over the Thundernight in my opinion.

Spoke to the genius this evening and my car is supposedly going into build w/c 14th March, I’m hoping it doesn’t slip. Fingers crossed I can have the car by mid April!

Hi, couldn’t see it arriving that soon, mine was built on 17/01/22 and still waiting delivery, it’s been sitting in the Uk for 2 weeks now, should arrive soon

mine went into build on Feb 3, and it's still building.. so even if yours starts on time... it could still take 4 weeks to build...

I'd take what genuis are saying with a pinch of salt. My dealer has been in touch to say car is expected with them 8th March, however genius have only just updated to say it left the factory for Mexico port. When I have asked for the status code it's apparently at sea...

I'm not sure anyone actually knows where they're at

My dealer joked that they built me a teleporting car, it kept just magically appearing at the next status and not updating between. Their thought is maybe everyone is short staffed and some scans are getting missed etc.

Missed processing steps are generally nootttt a good thing. Maybe that's why so many people are stuck in 'QC'

Thing looks like it's been through it! IMO the cars look much better in brighter colors, especially when it's not under a layer of road grime. I stopped in my tracks when I first saw mine in Portimao Blue.

Your probably right , once the car has been valeted and wrappers off it will look much better..

Looks like the car needs a good clean. I thought BMW transported their cars under cover / transporter. Or is it just a sign of the recent bad weather!

The transporter driver said he came up from Southampton over night,
It had about another 8 vehicles on his truck and every one was as dirty looking as the M240i.

At least in USA they're all on open carriers exposed to the elements. Enclosed would mean 3-4 cars at a time instead of ~11.

Black when it’s dirty sucks. Black when it’s ceramic coated and clean…. Different story. Also lacks the Pro Kit, I feel for some reason the arch spats and wider fronts will make a big visual impact….

Exactly my thoughts as well, without the spats and the nicer 893m wheels, the car looks very bland…. And doesn’t grab you attention as much as I hoped it would..

I got worried when I saw it today, as I waiting for mine to arrive which is also Black but with the arch kit and better looking wheels, I really hope when mines arrives that it grabs my attention a lot more than the one in the pictures

That’s the problem ordering a car without seeing it in the flesh first, but that’s BMWs fault for keeping pushing back the release Date.
