Dealer just off the phone, car has left production and went into the body shop! If it stays on track I'll be in it by the end of May. Proper buzzing now

I would imagine ours are coming through together mate, might be worth calling your dealer. The genius updated on the 14th so that must have been the start of production. Yours will be in front or just behind. Fingers crossed mate

Collected today, sent straight off for ppf and ceramic.
Black looks awesome in the sunshine but I suspect grey will hide the dirt better…

Spoke to genius again this evening and they’ve confirmed my car has finished production and passed quality checks (22/03). Now awaiting delivery to the UK, with status code 6000.

They estimate a delivery date of 23/05, but I’m highly suspect that it can really take two months to ship a car over so we’ll see.

Mines took roughly 6 weeks to arrive at dealership in the UK after it was produced. So might be about right.
Mine went from Mexico to Germany and then got shipped back to Southampton.. not sure why this happens

My car has a delivery date exactly one month from yours mate, car went into production last week. Surly our cars are on the same boat!🙏🏼

Quality check I think they all go there first,

I ordered 1st December, car finished on 17th January and delivered at dealer 14th March

Yeah a lot of people ordered long before me and still waiting yet.

I was very lucky the dealer I bought it from had just been assigned build slots for the M240i and also the 1st December was meant to be the date bmw we’re accepting Uk orders officially. So I’m thinking other dealers took order’s early but didn’t submit them fast enough on the date the Uk orders were getting accepted

You’re all so lucky. I’m from Belgium. My euro spec M240i has production date 10th december, shipped 17th of january.
Still hasn’t arrived. :-/

Arrived 3rd of March at the Belgian port of Zeebrugge. Been there ever since!! No more movement, very frustrating.

That’s a nightmare, nothing worse than knowing your car isn’t far away, but never arriving.
For everyone that’s awaiting the arrival of there new car, It’s definitely worth the wait

Anyone had any further updates on possible spec removal? Am I right in thinking it’s currently only the idrive touch controller?

Only on babybmw that from may build onward there's potentially the HUD, enhanced Bluetooth being removed.

My build is still scheduled for 25th April so I'm hoping it's either not correct or I scrape mine in before it happens

I asked my dealer yesterday and they said there is no removals from the m performance models on the very latest bulletins. I’ve provided the babybmw link and they’re asking where it has come from but no update yet

I read that cars for EU go to Germany for quality control before delivery.

Hello Harcos!

No she allready been in Germany. Arrived in Bremerhaven 20th of February and been shipped further to Zeebrugge arriving 3th March. The delay in Belgium is purely affected by ground transport….
