Do you know if it's possible to participate in any dealership and get the $1000 off code to use in another dealership? Because the dealership that ordered the car for me is about 400 miles away.

They were intimating that the prices were going to MSRP minimum soon. Fake pressure, I'm sure, but I was at the low end of my budget, getting a huge deal on my old car (not linked trade in), and in short, I gave up, and gave in. I was pushing for $1000 under, but no luck...and least not without walking away. I was, and remain, worried about supply chain issues and inflation in general, so walking away as a tactic was not high on my list at this time.

I used a similar program several years ago and it was good at any dealership. I would imagine that is still the case.

I ordered 3 weeks ago and got 4% off in the Pittsburgh, PA area, plus a really competitive price for my trade in. Just waiting on my allocation now.

wow, you guys who got anywhere from $500 to 4% off are damn fortunate.. I'm jealous

I only have 3 BMW dealers within 90 miles of my S. Carolina house. Tried all 3 and the best was at MSRP due to market conditions. Therefore ordered a a 230i with most options on Sept 9. Then thx to this forum members, i decided in mid Oct to switch my order to M240. Dealer stated fine, but we are adding $2,500 to all M Vehicle orders. I said no thanks, and 2 days later placed my current M240 order with one of the other 2 dealers who held at MSRP.

Luckily sold my lightly used 2018 230i w/M Sports Pkg ~5 months ago for nice return so that helps to take the bite out of zero discount.. so to speak at least

I may have missed it, but the deals that involve a discount also involved a trade in. How many negotiated the discount before talking trade in?

I do not have a trade-in and got $500 off.

I know a lot of times dealers will make you believe you got a good deal on a new car when really they are making it up on the trade-in.

Yes that is exactly my point. No shame in paying MSRP in this environment. Another variable is dealer document fee.

About the same in my area of NH. One quoted me $450.00 and the second was around the same, I don't recall exactly.

I feel bad that you're paying msrp. I might be able to give you a $1000 OL code next week, if they don't check the name and if you order is a stock order.

Not sure if you looked into the test drive incentive that is available this month. You may be able to use that ($1000.00) if you take delivery within the designated period of time.

I scheduled a test drive for this week. That's why I told him I'd be willing to give my OL code if I receive another OL code this week.

I used one several years ago. I earned the incentive after I ordered. I had to use it within the window of time that it was good for.

The language that I have read for the current incentive references taking delivery by late February....not sure if you qualify, but you might.
