Haha thanks I did see them but unfortunately they r less spec and are way more expensive than the deal I got, my only option really is to wait, although I have been looking at the M4 a bit to much 🤣

I think it's also down to the build slots each dealer has and when they are scheduled. It does feel like some have 'jumped the queue' but that's down to where each dealer slots are in for processing. I placed my order last August and still waiting for a build date (should be this month, preliminary collection in June), really pleased to see cars being delivered and being collected by folks. It's just a waiting game for the rest of us!

I'm in your boat mate, my order was submitted 6th Sep and being 13th in the queue, my car is now due for delivery on 23rd June.

Test drove the car on Sat "awesome" and discussed mine when I got back, the problem is the wiring lume. It goes to Germany from Mexico for this, however the factory where these are made is in the Ukrainian which has now been closed.

So there is a mad push to have this done in Mexico or have them sent to South Africa then on to the UK.

Me personally, if I was the CEO of BMW a number of people would have there P45 for that original plan in the first place! Shipping halfway round the fcukin planet for a wiring lume when it can be done on site is madness.

I heard this morning that the loom issue is affecting other manufacturers too (Audi).

In better news, my M240i arrived today, so I should get to pick it up next week.

Give You salesman at Western a phone and get him to send you a screenshot of your build status, it will show you how far on your car is, and check chassis number on the Bmw vin decoder, and it will let you see any packages that you ordered on the car..

Picked my car up Thursday night and loving it.. will get some pics up soon..

The answer to that is no, I tried everything when I was waiting for mine to arrive
The best thing I found was just to call BMW UK and give them the seven digit build number and they will tell you exactly how far on your car is and if it’s finished, they can’t tell which boat it’s on but can tell you it’s left Mexico
I nipped there heads on a weekly basis until I knew it was in the UK ready to be delivered to dealer.

At least you will know when it’s built by using the vin decoder, you will get the date the car is built on there

Tried that today mate but nothing's come up yet, probably should give it a day or two lol

Hopefully that changes for you this week, mines was built 17th January, And took about 6 weeks to arrive in Scotland. Am sure they held my car back until the official launch was done.
