Thanks for the answer, unfortunately my dealer doesn't know why this is the case either. Except that the delivery date is postponed further and further.

Regarding ID8: Of course, the new screen looks really impressive and more modern than the ID7, but for me it has far too strong a touch of an electric car. Too digital, looks like a driving smartphone, not well integrated. And i absolutely hate the new speedo design... and I love physical climate control and preset buttons. So I don´t think that having an ID7 will be a resale issue.

My salesman today told me that my status changed to 170, "port". Is this Bremerhaven? Or Mexico? The car was on 165 since early May, dealer says this means "in transit".

Hard to say... I hope for you it's the output port.
If so, he should know pretty soon.

No extra details… but with my car I was in code 165 for about 6 weeks when it got into code 182. And after that another 5 weeks till delivery at the dealer.
Production date of car: 10th december
Code 165: 12th of january
Code 182: 24th of february
Delivery at dealer: 2nd of April
