Have August allocations been sent out yet

Someone in the July thread said they got an allocation yesterday but it’s for September production.

Production for 22s has ended, but there’s one member here who is still supposedly in the assembly process with a 22. 23s appear to be starting in the next 2 weeks. Presumably the factory is currently in their changeover process

A bunch of us have allocations for August. The latest I got from my dealer is that I'm supposed to be week 31 but I'm guessing that will be pushed based on people who had allocations for prior weeks but are still not in production.

I am currently waiting for an allocation. I am next in line at a high volume dealer. So theoretically I should be getting an August allocation for a Sept build week. So I would say yes this thread is named properly, just a confusing allocation process.

BMW has a lot of catching up to do with their 2022 orders that were bumped to 23. Hopefully the production switchover happens soon..

Yep, "should". Seems like the allocation rollout process takes about a week or so for allocations to hit all dealers. This usually begins the last week of the month or the first week of the next month. But things have been wonky lately due to the iD8 switchover. So no fingers crossed on allocations being released next week

Anybody have an educated guess on how many allocations major markets get a month? I'm 6th on the list and Hendrick in Charlotte is estimating very late '23 delivery. Seems kinda hard to believe.

I am certain you could find another dealership that could get you a car before the end of this year. I ordered in June and will have a car by September

I'm in line at Hendrick too. What was your order date? They told me I was fourth in line? Ordered July 10th I think.

I got an August allocation. Currently week slated for 32 production.

I have a week 35 production allocation for a 23.
Deposit down June 1, ordering system opened and submitted June 20, allocation received July 8th.

Who knows how many times that will change… and I probably won't know with the lack of info available in Canada.

no you didn't name it wrong. August allocation actually means that your scheduled production week ( when the car completes production) is in that month, i.e. August.
For September allocations you should be receiving a September production week even if you got that status update in July or August for example.
