iDrive update 03/2023.50 available by OTA

The new version is now downloading on mine
Some may already have this via dealer update or more recently produced cars.

Doesn’t add much by the looks of it but I’m hoping my connection issues with the server are going to be fixed.

I got mine couple days ago.
I was hoping for some new functions - at least a new font that is in iDrive7.
The only new thing I found that from time to time Android Auto will restart it self.

It's updating on my US M240i RWD right now. Make sure you remove your OBDLink adapter and search for a new upgrade. 30 second power button iDrive reset may help as well.

I live in the UK and got the 2022/11 update at the weekend

Canada got it, Allen BMW did a demo of how to update on his 2023 M240. Still missing it on mine, stuck on I think 07/2022.50

Just got mine too, anything worth updating for? Last time all my settings cleared and my seat position isn’t white the same haha! Redoing bimmercode is a pain too.

If you don’t install the update, you’ll never get another one - they are incremental & must be loaded sequentially

So much for the update. Lost the weather widget and weather app doesn't load. Will search for app updates and also do a reset.
Also, changing from reverse to drive would switch from rear camera to front one. That doesn't happen anymore...
Anything else y'all have noticed?

Got the update today as well… had to take my car out on a drive before it finally showed up. Maybe it needed to charge the battery a bit more. Infotainment seems to be running a bit smoother, but other than that, not much else has changed. At least I don’t have to worry about going to the dealer to force the update

It does warn you that some apps can take up to 24hrs to start
