Will everybody get this update?

My 2023 w/ iD8 came with 11/2022.27 when new, but still has no update as of today.

Got excited lane assist popped back on randomly today figured maybe she updated, sadly no. That map on the main display looks pretty cool though excited if it is an android thing to check it out once im all up to date.

You already have the latest version so it won't show up.

I've been stuck on "connection established" on my phone (pixel 7 pro) and the software upgrade screen says upgrade will resume shortly, but that's it. It's been like that for a few days and I don't get the upgrade screen like you guys get. I have id8 version 07/2022.21 and the new version is 07/2022.60

Also, there’s an adaptive screen I never noticed before that tells my horsepower, torque, etc. Maybe I didn’t notice before because I had a weather widget before that was taking up space.

I did my '22 / ID7 upgrade yesterday with no issues. I wish I didn't read that the steering was improved because I now feel the same thing. Had I not read this then I'd know it wasn't power of suggestion / placebo

So the updates are model specific?

Mine is currently 11/2022.27 and I was assuming 11/2022.60 would be an update. I was thinking more on the lines of an Apple iOS update.

So the part you want to look for is more of the first part (11/2022)

The rest is just different variations, I'm not exactly sure why everyone has different numbers but it's possibly down to different regions or spec's of the car itself.

The next one should be 03/2023 that will be available in March for dealers/ Cars built this month onwards and then a little while down the line for air update.

Updates are normally every 4 months (March, July, November) But always take a few extra months to get released via air update.

Been almost a week now for me and still no Weather app. It’s there, but grayed out

EDIT: force restarted iDrive, weather now working again

The weather widget which appears on the screen is gone. The icon on the main app page remains in color, yet when selected does nothing.

After reading about people getting updates, I was thinking I was up-to-date because I was not receiving any notifications of the sort. Suddenly, the update message popped up. I followed the prompts, and it was done in about an hour. Car was in the driveway.

Will try to restart the system and see what happens.

Anyone know how to connect the apps part in the my bmw app? I did the update in the car but the app is still saying I need to update. I'm connected with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but it says apps not connected and I can't figure it out.

This is such a joke. It's been over a week and my car still won't update. Even after factory reset. There has to be a fix for this other than taking it to the service center.

Since the update my HUD as droppes to the point of oblivion - maximum height and I still can’t see it. It’s like low is the new high and low is so low that I have to bring my chair right up

Confirmed, after restarting iDrive (holding power button for 30 seconds), the Weather app came back.
