I think the carbon lip is a better choice. At least thats what I'll get first, it just makes the car so much more aggresive. However, the carbon lips are almost twice the cost. Hope that helps. Either way is a great choice

I would go for the rear deck spoiler.

Later on, I would then buy a complete Sport bumper that will hopefully be more aggressive than what the CF lips offer.

I think the CF lips are cool, but since the Sport bumpers are beginning to show up, I would rather wait and get a more complete package/kit (front and rear bumpers).

My choice is the CF lips. The back end looks very complete to me and although I liked the spoiler at first, looking at it longer has made me like it less and less.

I plan on painting the lips to match when I get them. Just not into the CF look myself but love the shape. One of the major reasons I did not buy an 05 330pp was the CF interior.

I think the rear spoiler will alter the car's looks a little more than the CF lips, plus you have the SG so they will blend in a bit more compared to white, red, arctic, etc...so if I could only get one, I'd go for the rear spoiler.

I have a 330i in SG color with both the Rear spoiler and the CF lips. They both enhance the look of the car in terms of aggressiveness but if I had to choose one I would go with the Rear Spolier....it adds more to the profile of the car (IMO).

None of the above. I think the E90 looks best without either.

Get a nice suit (allright, probably at the expense of lips+spoiler) to improve your looks.

I'm not a fan of the spoiler, but the CF lips are too expensive! Wonder when someone'll copy them so we can get cheaper ones to paint! I agree with E90Toad that they should be painted!

I was planning on ordering the rear spoiler soon, But.. once my car is paid off, i was planning on selling it. Would it be a waste of money OR will i get my money's worth in the sale. Also, can it be removed? Opinions/suggestions please!

Plan on selling the car, or the spoiler?

I don't think you could remove the spoiler without having to repaint the entire trunk, so it wouldn't be worth it.

It depends on how much longer you need to pay off the car. :P
I don't think that the spoiler will really increase the value of the car, nor will it be easily removable.
What do you plan on getting next?

Well i would like to pay it off asap.. haha, but realistically, in about 4 years or so.

I would like to buy a 330 or an M3 in the future.

So would you be looking at a 330 of the same styling or the next gen? You just want more power or is there anything you don't like about the current 3?

More power, and just to upgrade. I love my car.. but its my 1st bmw, and i def want to experience more of them. So, i figured once the car is paid off , ill have a higher downpayment due to the high resale value, thus ill be able to afford a higher priced bmw and still pay around the same monthly. I only got $7.5 K for my jetta, so it was mostly out of pocket money that i used for the downpayment. This way it'll be reversed

So basically what i want to know is.. Would i be throwing away silly money for modifications if down the road i was planning on selling the car, OR should i just do it, enjoy it, and increase the price when i sell?

If it is all OEM parts and you really want them, then go for it. I don't think they would increase the price much though.
