Question: OEM spoiler

I ordered an OEM spoiler primed. I need to get it painted arctic and Sterling BMW suggested i use a place right up the street called FX Pro. Just wondering if anybody in southern cali knew of a good place to get it painted for cheap. Thanks in advance!

holy cow, why would you do that??? i think its like 100 more come painted. its gonna cost you about 150 to paint it. plus no gaurantee it will match. so i suggest you buy it painted.

ummm....artic is not a special color why shouldnt it come in that color. so say if you order an e90 w/ spoiler you are telling me they have to get it painted some where?? you should double check with the dealer. they should have it. hey by the way how much was your spoiler?? you can get them here for cheaper. http://www.pacificbmw.com/ $170.77

I think NBrider is correct, my dealer set me up with the accesory catalog, and I'm absolutely sure my monaco blue was not available pre painted, and that only about 4 colors were available. I don't remember if arctic was one of the available pre painted colors, but I know monaco blue was not available.

there are some colors you can't get it pre painted in, not sure if arctic is one of them though

yes i had ordered it primed because i did not see the color Arctic in the brochure. I called Sterling BMW, and they have not gotten back to me yet, i will try and call Pacific BMW also...im just confused Has anyone ordered an OEM spoiler from the dealership after they had gotten their car for an unusal color such as arctic and had it come painted? Sorry if its a dumb question, and thanks for the help!

I am still contemplating doing this addon but haven't made a final descision yet. I can't really see myself doing any of the aftermarket addons but also don't like the fact that they're just glued on and sometimes you can see the adhesive. Plus if you don't like it your kind of hosed.

Yes I am fully aware that this is a dealer part. I am considering this, because "I can't really see myself doing any of the aftermarket addons".
