Turbocharger sucked in debris? N47 engine
I pulled my air box and the intake hose out and saw what looks like a lot of small dents on the impeller
Link to a video for sound () This is a new/refurbishes turbo fitted not even 500km ago. (I replaced it myself) And I don't remember seeing these marks on it, wasn't even looking at it in the first place. For now the turbo sounds fine and it's boosting normally. Also it's reaching it's target pressure (checked with ista+) deviance is maybe 50 milibars between supplied and requested boost. Important info, the car is mapped to 240hp, EGR and DPF off and is running M performance rear muffler So should I be worried? Also the dents/imperfections are nearly invisible to the naked eye, especially without a flashlight, pics were taken from up close and then zoomed in. Last edited by Jurazg; 08-23-2024 at 02:46 PM..
